Institute of Space Technology (also known as IST) is a chartered degree-awarding university located in Islamabad, Pakistan. It was established in 2002 under the auspices of the Pakistan National Space Agency. AERO-Bildung is an international organziation that deals primarily with the education and training of young people and adults. AERO-Bildung is an EASA PART 147 Maintenance Training Organization and we are recognized by the Federal Aviation Authority. Askari Flying Academy (AFA) is a project of Askari Aviation (Private) Limited, which is a company of Army Welfare Trust. AFA is established at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad since January 2007. AFA was granted Flying School License Class II by Civil Aviation Authority in January 2007. The primary focus of AFA has been to conduct flying related courses for which the Civil Aviation Authority has already approved following operational and training manuals. (visit website)


Peshawar Flying Club is situated adjacent to Peshawar International Airport in the city of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Club was established in 1956 as “Guarantee” Limited company under the provisions of Companies Act, 1913 (Repealed ordinance) & presently registered with Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan under the provisions of Companies Ordinance, 1984. The Club was initially established in camps with a donation of two Tiger Moths & two Auster aircraft by Pakistan Air force. However, with the passage of time & endeavoring efforts, the Club enable to have its proper building & infrastructure with 7 aircraft consisting of 3x Cessna-150, 3X Cessna-172, 1x Piper Aztec (twin engine), 1x Cessna-421 (Executive aircraft) and aMotor Glider. (visit website)

Karachi Aero Club

The Karachi Aero Club (G) Limited was established on the 28th of July 1928 in Gulshan e Iqbal and is the subcontinent’s first flying institution. It was formed by an association of person’s whose common goal was to instruct the members of the club and others in the art of flying and the science of aeronautics. In the 1960’s the club moved its flight operations to the BOAC steel hangar and apron facilities at Karachi Airport from. Hangar No. 301 was appointed to the Karachi Aero Club as an Engineering facility, and is still our base of operations till this day. The Karachi Aero Club has trained scores of Pilots and Engineers who have gone on to have successful careers within the national flag carrier and numerous private airlines both foreign and domestic.
