Through a strategic collaboration with the University of South Wales, Dubai Campus, Center of Aviation offers BSc (Hons) Top Up Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Degree to its students after completing the Three (03) Years EASA Part 66 Program.

This Top Up Degree course is ideal for individuals who may have already obtained an EASA Part-66 certification, relevant HND, or equivalent qualification. You can build on your existing knowledge of the aircraft maintenance sector and gain further recognition for your technical understanding and skills by obtaining a full British Bachelors Engineering degree.

USW aircraft maintenance engineering courses are recognised by aviation law, as detailed by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and gives access to real aircraft experience.
USW has integrated the industry-standard aircraft maintenance qualification ‘EASA Part 66’ into its full degree program.
Your studies will begin with three introductory modules in human factors analysis, reviewing maintenance practices and fundamentals of business engineering management. These modules will help get you up to speed with the remaining module study which will cover key technical subjects relating to flight, aircraft materials and structures and modelling techniques. You will learn about planning, operations, regulations, health and safety, and management, which are important issues within aeronautical engineering. You will also complete a project in a topic of your choice.
Fundamentals of Business Engineering Management
You will become familiar with modern business and project management techniques. This module aims to equip you with the skill-set for managing projects applicable to technology and engineering related businesses.
Human Factors Analysis
In this module, you will further develop your ability to recognise the limitations of human performance and implement management strategies to ensure best practice within an aircraft maintenance environment.
Aviation Maintenance Legislation
Evaluate key elements of aviation legislation within a commercial aircraft maintenance environment. In this module you will analyse the implications of international aviation legislation.
This is your opportunity to carry out your own independent study of an aircraft engineering problem. You will be required to undertake in-depth research and manage a major project guided by teaching staff.
Aerospace Propulsion Systems
You will learn how to perform cycle analysis of a gas turbine engine in this module, whilst deepening your understanding of aircraft propulsion systems, installations and their performance.
Engineering Project Management
Gain accreditation for the learning you have gained through experience in the workplace. In this module, you will learn key project planning and management techniques applicable to engineering and technology businesses.
Emerging Aerospace Technologies
In this module, you will explore the emerging technologies that are impacting the aviation industry, from safety and maintenance practices to aircraft operations. You’ll not only gain a better understanding of the technological advancements but how to analyse and evaluate their effectiveness.
Aviation Maintenance Resource and Planning Management
You’ll gain an appreciation of aircraft maintenance management and planning in this module. Topics covered include the scheduling, capacity planning, and forecasting of aircraft maintenance. You’ll also cover resource planning and management, outsourcing, and production control.
The admission to the University of South Wales Top Up degree Program through Center of Aviation requires completion of 03 Year EASA part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Program.
All Students of CoA who have or will be completing their 3 Years Part 66 Program in the past or future are eligible for the USW Top-Up Degree Program.
All admissions are processed directly by CoA under the collaboration with USW and no external agent or organization is authorized to facilitate as such.
The Fees of the USW Top Up degree program are processed by the University of South Wales Dubai campus at the prevailing rates and all students of CoA are eligible for a Special Scholarship offered by Center of Aviation for this particular program.
